If exercising my democratic right will earn me a beating let it be so because this is the oppression and suppression that my forefathers faced in colonial times. It is sad that fifty years after independence, some people continue to threaten others in protecting their political interests at the expense of our democratic dispensation. Lets exercise political tolerance, as a country rather than oppress those that have a different view point or perspective . Today, I might die but just know that tomorrow death shall surely knock on your door, remember that death is unpredictable. We shall all return to dust. The agony of suppressing people s views is that they will continue soliciting for other avenues, as an alternative in conveying their thoughts and aspirations. Honestly, the President has sufficient instruments of protection and your proposed mode of protecting the president is unacceptable and should not be condoned. My appeal is to the head of state to quickly condemn the proposed use of violence, as a means of protecting him. This threatening of violence for merely having an opposing view is primitive and should be stopped.
