If, for good reason, we generally distrust the concentrated power - TopicsExpress

If, for good reason, we generally distrust the concentrated power wielded by coercive monopolies, we ought to avoid at all costs placing more power in the state, the ultimate embodiment of monopoly. But, but, the nature of the State is goodness, and righteousness, because everyone in politics is holy and cares about everyone else, and... bull. The government OWNS the monopoly on force. Youre worried about McDonalds not paying a fair wage for an entry level position, and disregard and fiscal rape the government engages in through taxation. By the way, for those who cant support a family on your minimum wage job (or low wage job, whatever it is and whatever pay you do receive)... Why on earth are you having kids if you cant afford them?!?!?! #wellthoughtoutdecisions
