If for your whole life you had been taught that being fat was attractive and being skinny meant that you were unhealthy, you wouldnt look in the mirror and want to shed a few of those pounds. If you had been taught from birth that Zeus was your real God, you would probably believe it as long as a few other people preached it as well. If you were taught that the color green was actually called blue, you would know it as what you call a fact. If you were told by your society that growing up you had to go to college and pay $100,000 just to secure a real, respectable job you would believe it because you were told and over time it became all you (and everyone else) knew. Catch my drift? Its getting a little chilly in here.
