If four people made minimum wage and shared a household, their combined income would be over $60,000 a year and none of them would be required to pay much of anything in Federal income taxes. Their gross income would put then above 61% of households in America. Thats if they made the absolute minimum. If they made $10 an hour, they would be making $80,000. I wonder why the solution to poverty is always about forcing someone else to pay for a better lifestyle and never about people combining assets to improve their own lot?
