If heaven is truly different for everyone, Ive decided that mine shall be an eternity of sitting near two well-to-do older women at a restaurant well within earshot even thought theyre trying their best to whisper. They are elegant and exhausted with Christmas shopping. The bags and boxes that lay at their feet tell a tale of hard fought retail battles and their hair and makeup are still very much in tact. They have money. Their conversation reeks of it. I position myself to get a better listen as the conversation turns to 50 Shades of Gray. Theyve both read the book and are planning on seeing the movie. One too many stiff but elegant looking drinks has loosed the tongues and I can barely hear them over the steady hum of their vaginas. They talk about their husbands as if they were last years Givenchy one of them even referring to hers as a fuddy-duddy. This is gold. There is talk of nighties purchased and ignored and attempts at foreplay that involve food. But, the men in their lives seem to want their lovin served up the same old way every week. No lace, no leather, no whip. They want to see this movie bad and think the lead actor is a dish. I want these ladies to keep on talking forever. The air at this end of the room gets hotter and more humid the more animated they get. They gots to have it. They gots to have it now. At a theater near you.
