If horse and rider do not know how to react when they are both a little weary (not exhausted!) at the end of a course, they are heading for trouble. Tiredness training should, very occasionally, be included in the regime so that the horse learns to keep trying, whilst the rider learns how to help rather than hinder in such circumstances. This is becoming, perhaps, more important with the move towards warmbloods.
