Proposition 2, which passed in California in November 2008 by voters who believed they were helping protect farm animals, goes into effect: this week. In fact, due to the arrogance and dishonesty of HSUS, farm animals are still suffering in the exact cages HSUS promised to ban. If HSUS actually put animals first, as they claim to do, they would be advocating for veganism, not toothless regulations.
