If it is illegal for a man to honestly and peacefully provide for himself then how is he a man in his own right? That is the moral predicament of the North’s treatment of the South and of its own people as well as the South’s treatment of its own people; but not that of the North’s people. Hide a single transgression on behalf of the North and the South is the greater evil. Hide the transgression of the South and the North is exponentially viler! Hide the transgression of each sides’ treatment of their own people and the North remains the villain while the South the valiant defender of liberty. Hide nothing and the North remains the greater of two evil while the South remains teetering on the threshold of choosing which way to fall. If given time it is likely the South would have chosen to fall towards liberty for all regardless of collectivist ideals. The choice to recognize secession among honest men leads to the recognition of equality for everyone equally all the time. The denial of secession among men, as we understand by today’s events, leads to the enslavement of men to truth built on foundations of lies. That is what we have today. The foundation for all of Western Civilization is founded on lies. The lie is that government is necessary. The deception is that taxes are normal; yet they are theft for wealth created and/or earned by honest hands. These hands will not willingly give up such fruit unless there is at least an equal gain. This is especially true when such fruit would be given voluntarily to pay other men to command orders the creators of wealth would disagree with. Why pay others to command actions of you that work against your honor to provide peacefully and honestly for yourself and family?
