If it please the court, I would like to present the following as Exhibit A of Why I Can No Longer Stomach Conservative Media. A well-respected and fairly well-known conservative pundit linked to this video yesterday. It features Sadie Robertson (daughter of Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame) performing on Dancing with the Stars earlier this week. Her performance was quite good and the judges praise was effusive. So what was the pundits commentary on the video? Did he praise Sadie? Did he talk about how good her performance was? Did he give the judges a shout-out for judging her performance on its own merits (ignoring any irrelevant controversy)? No, here was his entire commentary: Cue liberal heads exploding in 3 . . 2 . . .1 . . . What a miserable existence to solely define the success of someone we like by how it might negatively impact our ideological foes.
