If its a truism that life isnt fair, why must it be the case that its unfairness biases it towards the people who have the most and against the people with the least? Is this a physical law? Surely in a natural state anyone can get eaten by a bear or get cancer - the unfairness and randomness of nature is no respector of persons. It seems unusual that we seem to include phenomena like the accumulation of wealth by the already wealthy and the removal of wealth from the already poor in amongst these other phenomena. It seems that life in this case is in fact a euphemism for the system we have designed to perpetuate our own advantage over you. That sounds more likely, but also less defensible. That must be why people try to pretend its just life and as such you cant do anything about it.
