If its not one thing its another!...........Dear little Fleeby was laying on the balcony Saturday evening when she suddenly started screaming and crying, she came running in and jumped on the bed holding her back leg up she wouldnt let me touch it and wouldnt stop crying I could see it was swelling up rapidly and knew she must have been bitten by something, so I put her straight in a cat box. I rang both vets but couldnt get an answer from either so I just had to sit with her to try and calm her and hope it wasnt a snake or scorpion bite, she is only tiny and weighs 2 - 2 1/2 kgs and one of these would have been enough to kill her. After 20mins or so I knew the danger period had passed thank god, her whole back leg to hip and foot had had massively swollen and she was crying with pain bless her. I kept her in for 48hrs with Lacey and the swelling has mostly gone down now though you can see in the photo the leg nearest the lens is still slightly swollen but she has stopped limping and the pain has gone. Here they are two little blind girls together both crashed out on the bed, of course I couldnt make the bed and disturb them, dear little souls I just love them so much.
