“If its still in your mind, it is worth taking the risk” - - TopicsExpress

“If its still in your mind, it is worth taking the risk” - Paulo Coelho and almost seven years later, here I am with my first book - Appus World of sun, sand and sea. Appu first came into my brain seven years ago and stayed put. I tried expelling him by writing just one story and publishing it in my first company’s team newsletter. That only helped him in taking up a permanent residence in my brain. As a working mother, I put my flesh and blood child above my Appu to the extent that he was dormant for a good three years. And then he came back with a vengeance that threatened to engulf me if I didn’t act immediately. As a result I wrote, reviewed, criticized and rewrote before I finally gathered the courage to send it across to a publisher. They accepted and here we are, Appu in all his glory! A bit about Appu: The protagonist is young Appu - a five year old boy who lives in a small coastal village in Kerala. He is a fun-loving yet thoughtful boy who sees the world with all the innocence of a five-year old. He learns that all is not fun, all is not as simple as it seems and many a times he is faced with the dilemma of choosing the right path. Follow him as he discovers the world around him and lifes simple pleasures! I wish to express my thanks to my family and all my friends for putting up with my tantrums and idiosyncrasies and helping me throughout! The book is available as an e-book on Amazon Link: amazon/APPUS-WORLD-SUN-SAND-SEA-ebook/dp/B00NGIE5YA Paperback will be available in October 2014.
