If mans kind were meant to fly, mans creator would have given him - TopicsExpress

If mans kind were meant to fly, mans creator would have given him wings. How odd it now seems to remind ourselves that only a hundred or so years ago a concept that man was born to fly seemed folly. Even lunacy. Sure goes to show how our belief-systems of a given time can be completely contradictory with the yet-to-be-held or known potential reality: look at us now, flight is a normal -- and widely employed -- method of transportation for a majority of mankind. Was a time also -- many centuries held -- when the earth was believed to be flat because limitations of the human eye conceptualized the horizon so. Perceiving our world so -- with some frightening, even terrifying, drop-off point -- mankind long refrained from venturing oceans and horizons far and farther. Our belief systems can be so contradictory with the actual, or yet-to-be-known, reality. The more we cling to untrue beliefs and false perceptions, the longer we hold ourselves bound by the invisible limitations of false and faulty belief-systems. Mankinds knowledge and comprehensions of science -- and the greater scopes of scientific mystery -- have this recent and current century grown in leaps quantum: literally. I like to remember that in moments which find myself caught up in -- or foolishly holding onto -- limited beliefs of a yesterday which today more clearly knows are no longer true ... and never had been true (or truly so) other than in false beliefs of some yesterdays perceptions, perceives, and adherences to. Its a quite exciting time to be living really. So many limited paradigms having recent decades been broken. So many doors of opportunity for development and growth -- in a wake of those broken paradigms -- thus opened. Yeah, pretty darn exciting time -- this era -- to be human. And Discover Mans Kind Was, After All, Born to Find His Own Wings -- and Fly Them. Cmon cmon, put your hands into the fire... youtube/watch?v=HEe3xfWfkG8 Give a mans hope enough scope to learn such earthly covets broken, and walking through this life his souls the instrument he flies like the jet streamed independent of the false belief that man was meant to grovel earth. Never meant to race the eagles in attain of greater heights. Never knowing the tribal cry of mankinds life, was the bird of soul mourning loss of the calling sky. **Excerpt from poem Hungry Man.
