If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, - TopicsExpress

If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. But sad or merry, I must leave it now. Farewell. I remember laying my hands on my first set of Tolkien novels, watching Lord of the Rings with my dad for hours on end together. Ive kindled the excitement for years, waiting for each Lord of the Rings movies to come out in theaters and being in awe because each one of them was EXACTLY how I imagined them all to be. So when I found out Peter Jackson was going to make The Hobbit, I was overwhelmed with joy and emotion. I only had to sit in my seat for a few minutes before my eyes started to fill up with tears- and from the beginning and to the end of the last, and final Tolkien movie, I was sobbing. Correction, I am STILL sobbing. I dont think anyone realizes just how much I deeply love this series- The novels by J.R.R. Tolkien and the films by Peter Jackson have played such a vital role in my childhood; and reserves a special place in my heart for the entirety of my life. This was by far the best movie Ive seen all year- Peter Jackson has really out done himself, as usual. I just cant believe its over,... :) *continues to cry* “All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
