If more people were allowed to share in the record profits their employers have made recently, workers would pay more income tax, giving them more skin in the game some people like to talk about. Instead, investors and high-level executives are taking it all and paying accountant to help them shelter their compensation so they pay a smaller portion in taxes than their workers do- and keeping the workers pay as low as they can get by with. If this had been done a few years ago, we could be running negative deficits by now and paying off that huge debt we acquired during the economic mess our high-level executives created- you know- the same people who refuse to share their profits with workers now that their crisis is over. This idea is not starting class warfare- its trying to stop one that the wealthy started. They should know were all better off when were ALL better off
