If my government is not lying about who is behind the incidents in Syria, then why hold your secret hearings. Hold them in light where the public can see them and you can make your case for wanting to conduct a preemptive strike on a country that has not attacked the U.S. (sounds a lot like Iraq). Prove to the American people that this is not about oil, getting into a war with Iran, or make the rich richer. The United Nations has peacekeeping forces, let them use their resources. If other countries in the region are saying that there should be intervention let them intervene, after all over the years they have bought enough of our military hardware.
