If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 CHRONICLES ... The Ifs of Revival. If is the Bibles biggest little word. It is a subordinate conjunction. A condition, If you do your part, I will do my part. If you respond, I will pour out My blessings. We dont make deals with God. He is God, and He has a perfect plan for our lives. There are 1595 Ifs in the Bible. Let us consider the If in this scripture: 1. Identification. If we have been identified with Him we can be revived. You cant be revived if you havent been vived, experienced a know so salvation. Weve been chosen by God, in His likeness, by His blood, before the world was formed. We are the Elect, chosen. God already knows, Whosoever come, let them come. He has many names, Counselor, Mighty, Prince of Peace, He is Lord. 2. Dedication. Shall humble themselves. Being humble is opposite of pride. God resists the pride but gives grace to the humble. You never stand any taller than when youre kneeling before God. Pray with a spirit of expectation. 3. Celebration. Then will I hear from heaven.
