If one remembers aright, NaMo had earlier been holding the position that in a "secular" country, the state could not take the responsibility to build or rebuild religious structures. Now, however, in his desperation and, I suspect, at the behest of BJP,VHP,RSS,BD, etc etc, he is willing to do anything that will give him at least a part of muslim vote. In Gujarat Elections it did not matter. As it is his party could not find a single muslim out of the "6 crore" Gujaratis to be given a party ticket. But, in other states, this attitude will not work. So much for his principles and desperation. My culture forbids me to use cuss words for the....but, for once, I do feel like using the choicest of expletives to describe the fraudster.
