If only Countries are as near as neighbors, You will always receive a rose from your front door. Then every night you will hold me tight, Just enough to make me sleep and close my eyes. When the world seems so unfair, You will cheer me up and I will stand from my chair. Then you will smile to me and said “that’s my girl”. Now, you made me realize that I’m worth more than any pearl. You are a friend to me, a reminder, a dad that I adore, If only I can choose dad or father in the store, I will surely pick you, And I will work hard to have you. In this world, maybe we have differences. Only special thing catches our glances, And in the end, you and me standing under the rain, And Dad, you are standing still even if I fail. Maybe, Words are not enough to tell how much I appreciate. Numbers can’t tell your rate, Even if I combine both its still not enough, Because Dad, They can’t pay your priceless laugh. My mom so dear to me and to you, Thanks for being the man of truth. Mom said, Dad is an angel given by God, Because Dad takes the tears when it was near to be flood. What else I can say, You are always precious in any way. But I want you to be strong, Because you still need to listen to my favorite songs. I know you care deeply, love deeply, I just wish I can show my love completely, Even you’re not here, Even you can’t hear me clear. I also wish you to be well, And I wish I can only tell, That your presence is like a beautiful present, And that your smiles are the door of precious moment. As I walk alone, I can’t help myself but think. What if instantly, you came here in just a blink? What if I’m not me and you’re not you, For sure, I will be out hunting for clue. As I wrote this, Maybe you’re taking a nap, While me, imagining myself to be on the top. But at the end of the day, Your best advice reminds me to stay. I hope I can dance with my Dad, Or maybe just talk outside the yard. Whatever it is or whatever happens, Remember me as the girl who care and understand.
