If only every day was like today! It was a good day in rescue. We have several families interested in fostering-to-adopt the sweet white pittie pup we pulled from Hammond this morning. It appears that Betty White has found a wonderful foster home for the duration of her pregnancy and puppy-rearing, and two kitties got adopted today!!! Please stop by Calumet Harley-Davidson on Saturday, 09/20, from 11am to 4pm to partake in the festivities (beer, food, games, prizes, Harleys!) and meet Venus, Pouf Blossom and Biscuit McFluffers. We had so many people stop by Harley today and express interest in fostering and volunteering. On the heels of seeing No Kill Nations movie Redemption last night, I really have faith that the more we work together as a community of rescues and supporters, that we truly could make our community a real no kill community. I will be posting much about that in the upcoming weeks. Please continue to share and support, friends. Not just us, but all local rescues. Every animal in every rescue deserves to find their forever home!
