If only we were lucky enough to have a do-nothing state - TopicsExpress

If only we were lucky enough to have a do-nothing state legislature here in California. As most of you already know there is a package of state bills that are making the rounds through the rubber-stamping, sub-committee side-shows in both the Senate and Assembly. If these bills are passed and signed into law, gun ownership will be so severely regulated and restricted, it will basically be illegal. Out of all the bills in the package, Senate Bill 374 (authored by tyrants: Steinberg, Hancock & Yee) is arguably the most disturbing, and threatening to your right to keep and bear arms. Senate Bill 374 will change the definition of what an "assault weapon" is by California standards. It will ban the sale of rifles that are able to receive detachable magazines, and require full registration of all rifles that receive detachable magazines that were purchased prior to Senate Bill 374 becoming law. Review SB 374 here: leginfo.ca.gov/pub/13-14/bill/sen/sb_0351-0400/sb_374_bill_20130528_amended_sen_v98.pdf
