If our doctors are forced to resign over unfair contracts… …the public health system won’t survive. The Queensland Government is driving its doctors out of the public health system by forcing them to sign unfair individual contracts that: • Take away the right of doctors to speak up for patients if it’s not ‘profitable’ • Force doctors to work tired without adequate fatigue management systems • Allow for doctor’s working conditions to be changed at any time, without asking them Without our best doctors, the Queensland public health system will descend into chaos - emergency departments will close, vital surgery will be cancelled and waiting lists will blow out. Dont let Premier Newman rip our health system apart.
