If religion was kept private, and we were all taught through school about the different belief systems, where they come from, why theyre important to the people that believe them, etc... I think thered be a significant increase in our ability to interact peacefully with everyone we meet. While its done to be funny... and I admit I laughed haha... picking apart a religion or basically calling its followers stupid is probably not the best approach. If your religion helps you with a sense of purpose, great, keep at it. If you have no religion, thats great too... as long as it works for you. My only issue is when you try to judge others through the lenses of YOUR religion or beliefs, regardless of whether or not its also theirs. Some atheists are just as guilty of this at times. Dont do the occasional good deed because your belief system tells you to, or because your god tells you to. Be a good person because you want to be a good person, and try be a good person to ALL others -- dont pick and choose. Then maybe, just maybe, we can accomplish great things as a whole planet. We need a little less I and me and a lot more we....
