If somebody came knockin on my door in the middle of the night and I conveniently shot them point-blank in their face. All because I felt threatened by their presence on my front porch. Dont you think my ass would be thrown into the jail without a bond? Furthermore, dont you think my name would be publicly defamed and ridiculed in the media? However, in this case, a white homeowner (whose name has yet to be publicly disclosed) has gotten away with committing murder. Why the double standards people? This is precisely why some people hate the stand your ground laws. Because they give way too much leeway to mentally deranged psychopaths to pull the trigger on anybody without any logical justification. The homeowner couldve called 911 or waited for Renisha to break into his house or at least inquired (like a sane person would) before pulling the trigger. Lord have mercy!
