If somebody goes to electric chair for war crimes, it would be me-SF THURSDAY, 06 MARCH 2014 08:19 Former Army Commander and Democratic Party Leader Sarath Fonseka said that if there are war crimes allegations against the Sri Lankan Army and somebody goes to the electric chair, it would be him. “There are the people who are first and foremost responsible for everything that happened on the battlefield: not the politicians who is sitting in Colombo. So if there are war crimes allegations and somebody goes to the electric chair, it will be me because I commanded, I planned, I monitored, I directed, I supervised the battlefield activities and I gave orders,” Fonseka said in an interview with Daily Mirror dailymirror.lk/news/44070-sarath-fonseka.html
