If someone offered you an Artificially Intelligent Operating System that more or less controlled or acted as a cross-platform gatekeeper for your entire virtual life (your smart devices, your entertainment stations, your google glasses, your pc, your automated home, and your car) would you buy it? How much would you pay for it? Would you want it to have a simulated personality? When I say AI, I mean Narrow Intelligence. Think of it more like a clever rat that lives inside all your devices, has the vocabulary of a human, and can understand 89% of the things you say to it. Now what if someone offered you this tech for free, provided they get to own ALL of the data you generate while using it. Would you take the deal?
