We do nothing to provide for the cost of the gift. If we did something, it would no longer be a free gift! Our part is to freely receive it and freely enjoy it! Thats what faith is. Its leaving behind the notion that we can earn anything from God, and receive His free gift - the gift that He provided at His own cost - by faith alone, and walk in it and enjoy it by faith alone.
