If something is wrong it should be exposed but why in the fair city of Portsmouth is there something to be exposed time after time! Whether its founded or unfounded there seems to always news that takes the focus off a city that needs to move forward. Economic Development projects are needed and baby steps are being taken which could lead to larger development steps and ease the burden of the residential tax payers of a large portion of funding the city. Ways of improving on time graduation rates, more school accreditation, timely maintenance of buildings, smaller classes, etc. are needed which some say more funding is the answer, some say better relationships between school administrators and teachers would help, others say more trust and understandering between the School Board and City Council members is the key but concentration on achieving these goals are again being put on the back burner while attention will be on practices that are possibly legally and/or morally not in the best interest of the city and its citizens! We are not a rich city but we could be, we already have a rich history which should be an advantage. What other city considers themself a Family! More investigations has added fuel to already spreading fire. A lot of serious information has come out today that has been talked about for a few years now that created a game of finger pointing and name calling with many taking sides on different issues. Now the only side is what is right for Portsmouths future! Changes must be made, where exactly it should be...hopefully that too will be exposed!!!
