If the Believer properly has the Cross as the foundation of his Faith,which is in effect,having the Word as the foundation of his or her Faith,he or she will not have to worry about proper emphasis. The Cross always places the emphasis where it belongs. It is to be on Christ and what He did for us at the Cross. And of all the great things He did there,the price He paid centers up on the problem of sin,more so than anything else. To be honest,Jesus could have readily addressed the problem of financial difficulties without going to the Cross. He could have done the same as it regards physical problems,or many other things we could name. But He couldnt address the sin problem without going to the Cross, consequently,we should understand this, and I speak of sin, as the greatest problem with humanity,and by far,and to be sure it continues to be a problem with Saints everywhere, hence the necessary faith to be continued in the Cross after Salvation. There is only one answer for sin, and that is the Cross of Jesus Christ. All the other things,while definitely important,are but side issues. So whatever we do, let us make certain that whatever else happens, the soul prospers. Nothing is more important. Heb.9:14;10:12;3John2 (Note:This is a repost )
