If the GOP can’t win you over to their point of view, they can always resort to using the ultimate bully tactic, pull out a gun, even if it is in the halls of justice. Two Nashville women said Tennessee Speaker of the House, GOP Rep. Rick Womick, plopped a gun on his desk in the middle of their conversation: Guns are not allowed in the Capitol. Asked whether lawmakers routinely kept guns in their offices. The guard told her there was a gentlemen’s agreement , the lawmakers don’t talk about the guns, and security doesn’t look. (Turning a blind eye). GOP Rep. Rick Womick, is one of three lawmakers involved in an odd string of meetings with Moms Demand Action members last month. Linda McFadyen-Ketchum, Moms Demand Action chapter leader, and Telisha Cobb wanted to change some state representative’s minds about the bill. In the middle of a conversation with Womick, the women said, he reached into a drawer, pulled out a gun and placed it on his desk. Womick,is a Rockvale Republican. When the moms met with Rep. Jon Lundberg, a Bristol Republican, he had a red-faced outburst in the middle of their chat, according to the two Moms Demand Action representatives. She said he told her it made him angry that he couldn’t use a gun at the ball field if the need arose. (maybe this is how he plans to sway the outcome of the ballgame, at gun point)
