If the Texans had a quarterback that was halfway decent (i.e. Kirk Cousins, EJ Manuel, Drew Stanton, Brian Hoyer, or even Mike Glennon), wed be 4-1 right now, maybe 5-0. Ryan Fitzpatrick cant make a decision to save his own life. Hes staring down receivers, forcing passes where he never should, and NOT MANAGING THE GAME. This is what youre paid to do here. Manage the game, dont turn the ball over, make good decisions. Hes doing none of the above. Its a freakin miracle were 3-2 right now. We had a home game IN DALLAS and couldnt win. Our defense is ranked in the mid-20s because our offense cant keep them off the field. Its almost like we have Schaub back. Almost, because Fitzpatrick hasnt had the pick-sixes Schaub threw. Hes making the same poor decisions, though. I really hope that the Texans front office realizes that we need a quarterback, pulls their collective head out of their collective rear end next draft day, and drafts A QUARTERBACK. Not a D-lineman. We dont need any more of those, our problem isnt on defense. Its under center. If we could get a half-decent QB, Im not talking Andy Dalton or Andrew Luck, Im talking Jay Freakin Cutler, wed be set. Our defense is a top-10 potential defense, they just keep having to deal with being on the field for way too long because our offense cant figure out what to do.
