If the chair cant understand Telugu, appoint a Speaker who understands Telugu. People have a right to speak in their mother tongue. How can someone compel we ppl to speak in Hindi or English. Speaker literally makes fun of a Telugu MP saying that he is acting that he cant speak in Hindi. Telugu is the Second Largest spoken Language in India. 15% of Indians can speak Telugu and we cant speak in Telugu in Parliament. .?!! Mr Speaker, it is your mistake of not having translators ready for all the recognized 14 languages of the country when the parliament sessions are running. The members are having every right to speak in any of the official languages. Refer the rules book Telugu language is being Disrespected and Insulted in Parliament.
