If the classic 1936 book "How to Win Friends & Influence People" had a 21st century version, do you think it would still advise people to focus on making people feel important through "old school" methods of making eye contact, calling people by their name, giving a smile, a warm compliment, listening intently, sending birthday cards, etc. Or, is that outdated to where we influence people more effectively by bulk e-mail and posting links with no relational effort required?
