If the concrete, steel, wood, and labor were put into building civil structures for Gazas citizens, the place could be transformed. When Israel possessed it, it was like a paradise. The IDF cleared out all Jews in 2005, so that the Palestinians could have the makings of their own country. The world did not thank Israel, it continued to curse her. We waited for the Palestinians to make some smart moves to advance their new land grant. They elected Hamas as their government. Hamas did not have statecraft on its mind. Palestine would need schools, houses, roads, factories, things that make a society actually work. Hamas does not want this though. Billions of dollars in supplies have been sent into Gaza. They confiscate the supplies for their own nefarious purposes. Israel sends the building materials into Gaza, and Hamas uses these supplies to construct tunnels. Can you tell me one good thing that can come out of the construction of a terror tunnel? Those resources are bought and paid for my American and European tax dollars. Israel is having to eradicate them at enormous cost of lives, and military resources. These things should have never been constructed, but Hamas is never condemned by America, Europe, the United Nations, or the western press. Israel is always the bad actor for merely trying to survive. Her actions are preemptive. If you were in her shoes, you would do the same thing, or become extinct. Watch the video!
