If the divorced father has his child 50% of the time and his ex wife 50% of the time, 100% of some government benefits go to the ex wife. Eugen Hockenjos fought this case for seven years in the high court and won. The government then changed the law so that the new law could resume the unfairness. Harriet Harman was the relevant minister at the time, and wrote to Eugen’s MP saying that the govt. would not make it fair because it would be administratively inconvenient. However, a few years later the court found against her, meaning she had to get the law changed so that the unfairness could continue. Ivor Catt
