If the following IS true- then we have to do things Gods way...for His purpose and glory. Helping each other into service and not letting self stop us from growth and learning. > All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV God gave us the guide book in order that we could do good work. The parable of lost sheep has been on my mind this morn. I used to think that it was just about those who wandered from belief- but I am understanding now that lost sheep are also any Christians who are not following Christs example or who are not practicing the love and reasons OF the gospels. For those who leave the faith---they can still come back at any time- Only God knows which will come back---but as Christians, we need to believe that all can come back and treat them as such. That is the TEST we face each day--- will WE pass the tests which qualify us AS Christ followers ? Otherwise - we are the other type of Lost Sheep. Luke 15 (NIV) The Parable of the Lost Sheep15 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” 3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
