If the intent of BRICS declaration is to drive a paradigm shift in the worlds capital and currency contexts / landscapes, it is indeed a noble one. The world needs to understand how the $ has held its sanctity even in the post 2008 world era. However, in those lessons will lay the wisdom of why this intent could be hard to translate into reality with over dependence on China - a nation that is totally dependent for its production capacity to crank upon markets across the Pacific. To make matters worse, the Chinese prosperity story lives off a dangerously tipped internal credit scenario and most importantly, where the freedom of purpose of humanity could be held hostage at the Tiananmen Square. I want rationalisation of currency sanctity but am aware it cant be driven by China. In exactly this, is the opportunity for India.
