If the mind is not calm, it looses a great percentage of its ability to think and the judgment becomes clouded. One starts to “over-think” and negative thinking takes over the imagination. Pranayama will not suddenly add 300 points to your ELO. But it will help you become more relaxed and calm, and face the situation with 100% of your abilities and knowledge.
