If there is a devastating cataclysmic quake off the East Coast of Australia in 2014, New Caledonia is where many indicators I have seen all point to. British explorer Captain James Cook was the first European to sight New Caledonia, on 4 September 1774, during his second voyage. 4.09.74 totals 4/20. There are many allusions to Nova Scotia, i.e. New Scotland in Hollywood films and such, and New Caledonia is also New Scotland, hence the two are associated with one another. There is a Sydney, Nova Scotia, further cementing the association. New Caledonia lies approximately 750 miles east of Australia. The island of Fiji lies to the east of New Caledonia, and I have noted many references in films to Fiji being targeted as well. Sandy Island is also associated with Captain James Cook, New Caledonia, and 4/20. Sandy Island (sometimes labelled in French: Île de Sable) is a non-existent island that was charted for over a century as being located near the French territory of New Caledonia between the Chesterfield Islands and Nereus Reef in the eastern Coral Sea. The island was included on many maps and nautical charts from as early as the late 19th century, and gained wide media and public attention in November 2012 when the R/V Southern Surveyor, an Australian surveyor ship, passed through the area and undiscovered it. The island was quickly removed from many maps and data sets, including those of the National Geographic Society and Google Maps In 1774, Captain James Cook charted a Sandy Island 420 kilometers due east at approximately 19º S latitude and at just less than 164 degrees of longitude (rather than just less than 160 degrees of longitude for the phantom Sandy Island on charts and maps after 1876). The associated map was published in 1776. This Sandy Island, though at the same latitude, is four degrees of longitude further east and may or may not have been associated with the standard location after 1876.
