If there is anything Joshua Selke loves, it is a holiday, birthday, or any monumental celebration. He has been counting down the days until his 16th birthday for months now. The day is finally here! It reminds me of Christmas, 1996 wondering if we were indeed expecting another child in our family. God in his infinite wisdom knew EXACTLY what the Selke household needed. YOU! It has been so wonderful watching you grow and become the man God made you. I am eternally thankful for your generous, thoughtful, gentlemanly heart that is sensitive to the young and old alike. You are so devoted, loving and kind to your first grade class at church. I loved homeschooling you for so many years; that has made us so close! I remember racing you with math facts trying to improve your speed. I will always remember eating lunch with you watching Gilmore Girls. I have so many fond memories of you. On this day, I want to wish Josh a wonderful and joy-filled birthday! May this year be your best year yet! I love you and am so proud of you! Happy birthday, Joshua Selke
