If there is one thing we should remember from the 50s and 60s that we were mostly oblivious to what was going on else where in the world other than perhaps being scared to death ( I know I was) for 13 days in October 1962 that the world was going to end.We should all be very thankful that we were lucky enough to be born in and/or grow up in Peterborough in the 50s and 60s where everything was mostly milk and honey, Lucky that we didnt live in Selma Alabama or Hanoi, North Vietnam or Northern Ireland or 100s of other places in the world.
