If there is somebody (personally I don’t believe that there is such individual) who still are not sure about Mr.Manson’s participation in SOA, then he/she should look at this amazing pic and see. It’s a priceless pic with even more priceless, open to interpretation caption ‘…and this is why she can’t take me anywhere’. This pic and the caption are responsible for my prolonged laughing spell. Katey and Kurt make a perfect match. No words. Katey immediately understood Kurt’s linguistic need of finding the right word. Love means that Katey is Kurt’s rightest word. Kurt Sutter and Mr.Manson couple too. Of course, for absolutely other reason. The script writer, the shock rocker. Or vice versa. It means harmony. Harmony means love. Another love. Generally speaking watching SOA it seems that there was the atmosphere on the set which favored collaboration and creation. No wasting talents on antagonism because somebody had a star period or whatever. Also a very good choice of the dress. It’s not only well-tailored and it doesn’t only do justice to Katey’s body but also it does justice to her character Gemma. Gemma is a femme fatale but not in the conventional sense. It’s easy to be carried away by the red carpet dresses but any light-minded outfit wouldn’t have fitted the character and the air of SOA. Watching the SOA (though I’m desperately late) I said myself ‘Many times Hollywood doesn’t exploit dramatic actors/resses’. There are actors/resses having drama potentials such as Katey Sagal. Why not to put to use skills like hers? Instead people tend to remember her as Peg. I realize that Married were very successful series that brought much laughter and much profit. Though many actresses can play Peg successfully. It’s a relatively easy role. Not many can play Gemma persuasively, to present Gemma’s emotional burden successfully.
