If there were over two million no voters the yes Scotland failed - TopicsExpress

If there were over two million no voters the yes Scotland failed to reach and convert at least two hundred thousand. We may have thought wed all converted lots of people each, but we were few at the beginning and many converts may already have decided by the time we encountered them. So tje convert one other person campaign was too simplistic and based on an unknown number of extant yes votes. We nred far more accuracy and demigraphic planning. We were naive because we were all new and inexperienced. However we were also remarkable. We got half of scots ready to say yes. If we knew more accurately where our vote level actually was, targeting certain groups would have produced a majority.
