If this is not adressed, and this fact is not told to the public, we can expect no change at all geopolitically. Powerful nations cannot back the government of Israel if Israels elite continue their belligerence and war crimes. If they continue to do so, even after this act of war, they need to be condemned and possibly sanctioned on a global scale. And no, I am not a person who spouts rhetoric that Israel must be destroyed or its people be killed. I judge nations and governments by their ACTIONS, not on a philosophical basis. That being said, Israel needs to pay for this crime, they need a serious change in government, and they need to learn how to be good neighbors. Anything less will make them look more and more belligerent, and escalate tensions (and dare I say hatred) between them and the world community. I see diplomacy as the first resort, and violence ONLY if all diplomacy fails, as an ABSOLUTE last resort. For this action, in particular, ALL nations should condemn them, the US included...
