If this report of security people wearing only diapers instead of trousers is reliable, It shows to the world there is really something wrong with the Filipino psyche. Unprecedented shows of devotion and emotional outpouring for the Pope (as a momentary projection to salve the despair, hopelessness and uncertainty gripping our country) on one hand and you have a bunch of jokers walking around in diapers who are either completely oblivious about these personal things, or wearing this as an act of protest for the lack of MMDAs provision of portable toilets (showing again our POVERTY amidst the glitz); or maybe these are extra workers pressed into service with no budget for pants (a chance for short term employment for the masses of unemployed - 24.7% of our population). But dont they have a sense of modesty showing the bulge of their manhood in public, and in a religious activity at that? Not even the poorest of Yolandas victims in Tacloban chose to wear such impolite attire in public. (wa pa gani ka larga ang Santo Papa ni gawas gyud ang ka boang natu)
