If we are careful to listen and reflect we are bound to learn more even as we think we are teaching. Yesterday I ran my Team Dynamics session here at the JCI world congress 2014 and it has been a learning process once again. To learn that if we dare to step out we can amaze ourselves. To learn to know who to turn to who will tell us we can do it and encourage us. To learn that even when we doubt ourselves things will still come together. As a new and young trainer I had been advised to encourage my own friends and people from my area to attend. It did not help that the training clashed with a critical general assembly that had elections as well as several other trainings so in the morning I was almost scared no one would come. I reached out to my support system and was assured I would be good then I sat down and internalised this and told Taffy we got this then went out and gave it my best. I was very touched to have 30 people turn up for the training and of this group only two were my friends who came to support a sister. I do not know what you want to do but I am reaching for the stars and loving the journey. Its exciting at start, downright scary and nerve wrecking in the middle and downright awesome at the end. #JCIThings #JCITrainer #StayingHungryStayingFoolish #OntoTheNextLevel
