If we bring down #CETA, we can bring down #TTIP! These toxic trade deals - negotiated behind closed doors - spell economic, social and environmental disaster for European citizens! Please take action by signing this petition against CETA, addressed to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel. (English and French versions available.) While theres little to no mobilisation around CETA in some countries, Ireland for example, Germans are up in arms about this undemocratic trade agreement and politicians are taking note. If we can get Germany to reject CETA, perhaps other countries will follow suit? The next stop for CETA is the European Parliament, where we have to get a majority of MEPs to reject the deal. This means reaching out to ALL poltical groups, especially in countries like Germany, not just to the Greens and GUE/NGL, both of whom are already categorically opposed to these agreements.
