If we find find out that that the supermajority of Republicans controlling the RTM want to slash the already approved town education budget on the magnitude of $10M to $20M what should we do about that situation? Since the Republican RTM leadership stonewalled the town earlier tonight regarding what appears to be their annual pre-planned cuts to the education budget perhaps we need to already be planing and executing a successful referendum to ensure that the public school system is properly funded for the forthcoming school year. I thought that the Fairfield RTM Republicans were very much in favor of transparency especially following Ken Flattos administration and the Metro North train station project. I guess that depends on what very narrow, but vociferous, constituency, and perhaps many of their own fiscal bottom lines, they are serving at any given moment. Thoughts?
