If we had an over abundance of job opportunities here in the U.S., I probably would not be as anti amnesty as I am now. We can thank both the Republican and Democratic Party for the passage of horrible legislation like NAFTA and CAFTA that basically resulted the the closing of Made in USA manufacturing and re location of them to third world countries. Because of this, adding 11 million more people into the job market would be equal to adding more water into the soup pot until it is all water and no more soup. This, I believe has been done with intent. Our government/corporations get rid of millions of jobs and then they want to bring in millions of people. This will hurt our economy even more than now and will add people to the government assistance lines. I know government says the 11 million will not be able to receive government assistance, but I believe that like I believe the Patriot Act is good legislation.
