If we read the history, we see that many nations before us have been wiped off from the surface of earth due to their wrong doings. They are replaced by a new generation like us. But what we forget is that, like our previous generations, we are also being observed by Allah swt how we work. We will also have the same fate of our previous generations if we become wrong doers like them. Allah swt says :- 13. And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe. Thus do We recompense the criminal people. 14. Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do." ......(10:13-14)
